IS LIVE ANIMATION PUPPETRY COST EFFECTIVE?

Unlike CGI, cell animation, or stop motion, our characters can be shot with a mixture of real people on a stage, or on location at comparatively lower production costs. You also eliminate the need for that expensive celebrity spokesperson, who may require a great many perks in addition to fees. By shooting our characters “green screen”, the action sequences available with full body puppets are almost endless, along with the ability to size the characters as large or as small as needed. They can also perform in virtual sets, saving the cost of designing and constructing expensive set pieces and raised platforms.

CREATING A CHARACTER...WHAT’S THE PROCESS?

The process begins by determining just what kind of character will best suit your needs, taking into account not only the look, but how the final puppet will perform..half-body only, full body as a set piece, live hands, or designed as a full body character to be shot green screen. Once those issues are resolved, we begin by sending you, via e-mail, initial concept drawings of how we would design that entity as a WHATTA CHARACTER. These would be followed by color renderings. Once you’ve approved the color renderings, we will begin sculpting the final character. Digital photos will be e-mailed to you during crucial phases of the construction process for your comments.
